Community Groups
The main purpose of our Community Groups is to bring about “connection!” Connection happens as connection is intentional & our main focus! Most groups meet for two hours and:
Connection is given about 40 minutes, with food & beverages, and sharing of some sort of “opener” or life-in-a-minute (‘update us on your life. You’ll have a minute!’) or updates on personal prayer concerns.
Study/discussion is given about 50 minutes. ‘Connection’ is still our key focus in the study times. Not all the points of a ‘lesson’ get addressed, not all the questions in the material get answered, etc. We focus on ‘how to live out’ what’s taught and discovered---with a lot of sharing of how God wants to be working it out in our lives!
Connection is given around another 30 minutes. We focus first on ‘how-can-we-pray-for-you-in-light-of-our-study?’ and ’how can we pray for your life over all?’ After sharing ‘of how to pray for each other,’ we get right into group prayer.
