Homeless Ministry Volunteers meet in the kitchen at 6:30 am on the 2nd Saturday of the month to prepare to serve the homeless in Downtown Sacramento. Volunteers meet in the kitchen the day before at 9 am to prepare bag lunches. Won’t you join us? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

This three hour class takes a look at what it means to be a Christian, what it means to be a Baptist and what it means to be a member of First Baptist Church of Fair Oaks. For more information please call the church office at 966-2295.
Since we are all unique and learn in a variety of ways, our Sunday morning Bible session for children consists of “Learning Stations.” As each grade rotates through the Learning Stations they experience the lesson through music, crafts, story-telling, and interactive learning. Each grade has a “shepherd” who stays with the class as they rotate through the Learning Stations, establishing an on-going relationship with the children and providing consistency. Snacks and recreation are also part of Truth Quest. Children in grades 1-3 may participate in Truth Quest for the entire morning or join their parents during one of our two worship services. Kids in grades 4-6 attend Truth Quest from 9 am-10:15 am and then join their parents for worship in the worship center at 10:30 am. There are ideas created specifically to help families grow closer as they grow in relationship with Jesus!
